March 9, 2022 – Collinsville’s Festival of Trees charity event was held in-person at the Gateway Center in December 2021 after an online virtual event due to COVID-19 in 2020. KAHOKstrong was the designated beneficiary for 2020, since the online proceeds were beneath expected levels, Festival of Trees decided to support KAHOKstrong again in 2021.
A check for $15,000 was presented to KAHOKstrong sponsor Toni Geisen and student leaders during the March 8, 2022 Collinsville City Council meeting. In December 2020, KAHOKstrong received a check for $6,144.90 from that year’s event.
